The Seneca Woodworking Imperial Thickness Setfor the Festool Domino DF700 allows you to quickly and effortlessly adjust the Domino fence offset to center your mortise on a range of imperial material thicknesses from 1/2″ to 1″. The set consists of two components: an Imperial Thickness Gauge and a “Domi-Shim.” The Imperial Thickness Gauge installs in less than a minute using a Torx T10 bit (not included) and is a direct replacement for the metric thickness gauge included with your Domino DF700. The Domi-Shim attaches to the DF700 Fence to enable centering on narrower material than was previously possible without a shim or spacer. The Imperial Thickness Gauge is CNC machined from Delrin material and designed to center on 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″, 7/8″, and 1″ nominal ply thicknesses. The Domino DF700 fence has a lower travel limit that would normally prevent it from centering on 3/4″ or smaller ply so a shim is required to enable centering on these thicknesses. This set includes theSeneca Woodworking Domi-Shim required to work properly. This Domi-Shim can be installed by itself (without the Imperial Thickness Gauge) and used to center on 1/2″ nominal ply. This Domi-Shim is the same 1/2″ shim we originally sold as part of our Domi-Shim set.
